02-Presentation of Michael

The heat was intense in Houston, the late spring with its 97º ~ 100º daily, we were warned that a tremendous and suffocating summer was approaching.

I have set up my studio in the garage, but the only ventilation I had there, were two pair of gates that opened outward with hinges, and an old and powerful fan that a charitable neighbor had given to me.

That day, I was sleeping lightly, overwhelmed by the heat, trying to write on my computer, because to paint or do something else, it was impossible.
In my sleepiness, I saw the presence of a strange and wonderful character person.

He had the appearance of a man in his 50’s with a height above the 6’ and a robust complexion.

His face was jovial and engaging, his eyes were of an intense blue that reminded me those of my mother. His hair was bright silver, giving him an air of a distinguished University Professor. He was dressed simple, casual I would say, even wore a long sleeved sport shirt.

I never saw when he entered the property, whose doors reminded open during the day, all I know is that he suddenly came into my studio and although I do not have visitors frequently, it is not unusually that people come to the house.

He introduced himself with a friendly smile and told me to enter? “I’m Michael, are you Vincent, the artist”?
A little upset, I answered “yes”, while asking him, who had sent him to me.

He wanted to penetrate my thoughts and calm my doubts, he smiled and told me, “It is a long story, I knew that you are writing a book and I have come to help, let me see”.

And approaching a chair to sit, he overlooks my computer.

“I like the title of your book, Pastorela without end or The song of the shepherds, although, it will be a little difficult to try to translate the title, with the same meaning in the content of this story”.

“Its religious spirit and above all, the beautiful surrealism and form, used by the Franciscans, to penetrate the mind and heart of people, make it almost impossible to translate”.

Aware that his words were a criticism to the title that I tentatively prepared for my book, I answered, “yes, the Franciscans has a great sense of humor, especially when this is an issue about the devil”.
“Saint Francis urged his colleagues not to take his threats or actions against them, because terror will make him more powerful”.

God gave him the power and the permission to act against them, but; only they should fear when he ought to try to turn them away from the love of God.
So when he heard the laughter and mockery of the friars, the devils use to run away from them in a hurry.

The joy that came from the heart, and the luminous presence of Jesus in the faces of his alleged victims, usually disarming and makes him to flee as a coward.

“Lucifer”, he continued, “was an Angel powerful and beautiful. God choose him to sit at the feet of his throne, and gave him a great authority”.

“I was an Angel of the eight hierarchy, just above the chorus of angels”.
At saying this, my heart gave a turnaround; he was identified himself as Michael, the Archangel Michael!
Smiling, he placed his hand on me and I was reassured.
After that, he continued with his story, “the paradise in heaven is a place full of light, a light that is not reflected, but; that comes from the same source, which seems to flood the place”.
“Nine choirs of angels live there, in a number of millions of millions, so many that you could count the inhabitants of the earth, since it was created, until it cease to exist and even then, the number of angels will exceed the number of people created by God”.
“The spirit is the opposite to the matter, therefore, the relation that Einstein discovered about “Matter-Time-Energy” could never be applied to explain the nature of our bodies of light”.
“We are not subject to these laws, because the energy that moves us is different of that discovered”.
“The power of a single angel is so big, so huge, that he could alter or move planets, if God is so permitted”.
“The matter is like a mirror of energy subject to time that was created by God, so, what your sense communicated to you, is what is not, but; what is not perceived, it is what truly exist”.
“Remember the words of Shakespeare, to be or not to be”.

“He intuited this truth, not to understand. You are a pale reflection of that truth, the true image of a being that belongs to another dimension”.

“Lucifer was not only beautiful and powerful, but also reflected the love of God in a unique way, so his light was the most beautiful and intense coming from a perfect creature”.

“By rebelling against god, he unveiled this mirror where he was launched and, all his qualities and virtues were inverted”.

“His bright light became absolute darkness, his beauty was turned into ugliness, his love became hatred, his divine knowledge became human wisdom and his life was condemned to death and he was chained to the laws discovered by Einstein”.

“…Yes, Lucifer was the most grandiose of all creatures, the highest in the hierarchy of all the spirits of God”.

“He rebelled against God and with this he uncovered the evil”.

“Many angels, one third, according to tradition, rebelled with him”.

“It was a terrible war, where minds and wills clashed in an intense and passionate way, with all its power, with all its strength”.

“Probably you don’t understand, but neither “War of Galaxy” with its fighting of the Force represented by the Jedis and the Dark Side represented by the Siths, would explain it”.
“Maybe the “Big bang” explosion that scientist clamed gave birth to the universe, could be compared with this confronted energy”.
I don’t know, if he continues with his talk o was bore about my sleepiness. He stood up and left.
In truth, I don’t know if his presence was only in my dreams, but; on returning my attention to my computer and reviewing what it was writing on the screen, I could see at the end of that writing, a sentence that left me thinking…
I, Michael!
