01-Preface

Word of Thanks

A long way to go, was the work done in these pages, and in the end, as Nietzsche says in his book Thus spoke Zarathustra. There is no path!”

Don Facundo Cabral takes up this thought in his song “Walker, there is not path; you make it when you walk through it”

I want to thank in this first page, all those who their comments, words of encouragement and demonstrations of support, contributed with this book.

The Life, told me a friend through a presentation on “Power Point” that sent me, is like a train journey.
This beautiful presentation can be downloaded from the Internet and I thanks to all those who, as him, feed my imagination with their submissions, with their thoughts in e-mails and the appropriate links that helped me to complete these pages, however; I must add that my great inseparable companions, who traveled this road with me, were the Archangels and my Guardian Angel that filled my heart with beautiful thoughts, that I translated into words to write this book.

Incidentally, my Angel corrected me about this page and told me in a dream:

“Vincent, if you question yourself like Pilate, who imitated the Gnostics asking, what is the truth? you will find that the answer is a relative truth”.

“If you are looking for the way as Nietzsche in his atheism, he was seeking for; you’ll find that there is no path”.

“And if you think skeptically, you’ll find that there is no other life only this one, in which you must enjoy yourself, building up a fortune and seeking for self-complacency, however, there is a path”!

“Jesus is the truth of this path that offers life at his side”. “The roads of life are different for each of you, as different as your personal relationship with God, but everything has its beginning and end in him”. “Jesus is The Way, The Truth and The Life”!

I wanted to stay at the side of every religious or philosophical debate, and when I mentioned lodges and churches, I did in a literary plan on leaving you, free to interpret between, reality and fantasy.
I do not intend to imitate other writers as Dan Brown, who in his book The DaVinci Code mentions dark alleged activities, carried out by The Opus Dei, without eve attempting to understand, the mystique in this Prelature and the quiet work of its members through their Christian lifestyle, to carryout “The Glory of God”.

Although it is not my intention in this book, trying to find connections or similarities, I must say that this work done by them is largely consistent with the motto of The Order of Temple Warrior Monks, which said, “Non Nobis, Domine, Non Nobis; Sed Nomine Tuo Da Gloriam”, in other words, “Not to us, Lord. Not to us; to Your Name give the Glory”!

In reality this manner, mentioned facts and related them to other groups and churches, is part of the literary style that I used to fantasize about other subjects.

Time will come that I’ll criticize some alleged facts put into action by religious leaders of the Catholic Church, that may have happened and which my imagination and my permanent sources that I call my Angels, instructed and dictated in my mind, pointing to the evil cause, that seems to be behind all acts that offended God.

Santa Teresa de Avila in her time, in comparison of courage, way the Pope of Avignon and requested his resignation to avoid the earthquake that threatened to split the Catholic Church at that time, with another Pope in Rome.

Dorothy Day, founder of the Catholic Worker in the United States, wrote in defense of immigrants and unemployed people, living on the streets of major cities in this great Country.
It was New York where she lived in community with them, in a large group of the homeless, who she dressed and fed and who for that reason, she also was accused of communism.

She used to respond to those groups opposite to the Catholic Church and to the same Catholics, when they asked her to stop writing about these unwanted people; My Bishop never request such a thing from me.

Following the footsteps of this wonderful woman, to the spiritual Hall of Fame of the Catholic Church which is The Sanctity, I see Rosemary Badami, who has been, a spiritual mother for me in Houston, for nearly 24 years.

To her I would like to express my deep appreciation for the immense assistance, that I have received to write my books, and have allowed me to live in this community that she directs, in which I have enriched my spiritual life.

To all of you who are going to read my pages, I invite to share them with others, and even, if this is not your way to go, you will find in this history of fantasy, many motivations and thoughts, that will help you to walk in your own path.

With the Peace of Christ

Your friends:
Mikail Miguel.
